Understanding the true size of a watch and how it will wear on your wrist is important when selecting a new timepiece. Several aesthetic factors will impact the way the watch looks on your arm, such as the size of the dial in relation to the case. For example, an average men's case size of 40mm may play larger when worn if the bezel is minimal and the dial goes all the way to the case edges. These illusive and subjective types of details are best shown through images, but it is important to also always note the concrete characteristics of a watch, such as dimensions.
All our watch measurements follow these guidelines:

Case measurements do not include crown or lugs.
Quick Tip: Use a flexible measuring tape to approximate the size of your wrist for strap and bracelet dimensions. (Keep in mind bracelets can usually be shortened by removing one or more links.) Use a large coin with a standard diameter, like a U.S. Kennedy Half Dollar at 30.6mm, to get a feel for case and dial.
