Kyanite Necklaces – Time to get a Job!

Derived from the Greek word ‘kuanos’ or ‘kyanos’, which means ‘deep blue’, kyanite is typically a blue color but it can also be colorless, white, gray, green, orange or yellow. I think Kyanite needs to decide what color it wants to be. Kyanite needs to pick a color (way too early in its young adult gemstone life) and figure out what it wants to be when it finally grows up. Will it want to be typical blue on a ring or branch out and add a bit more of a splash of color? Someone should tell kyanite that such decisions do not need to be made so early. It can be whatever it wants to be and take as much time as it would like to figure it out.

Kyanite can be very easily identified by its dual-hardness. This attribute and its frequent habit of color streaking and blotching, make kyanite an easy gemstone to pick out from others. Standing out in the crowd is not a bad thing. It should be encouraged! Speaking of standing out, check out our Passage to Israel collection to get the latest in outstanding kyanite. Once you do, keep your necklaces and other accessories protected with some help from our handy jewelry storage pieces.
