Crab Cake Preparation Instructions

  • Store in refrigerator up to three days or freeze in an airtight container for up to a year
  • If frozen, preheat oven to 425°F
  • Remove crab cakes from corrugated box and plastic lining
  • Place on oven safe tray
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 27 minutes
  • If thawed, bake at 450°F for 14 minutes

Bobby Chez has four retail stores in South Jersey selling "Gourmet Seafood Take Out" but he is best known for his Award Winning Bobby Chez "Famous Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes." His recipe is from his mother, who worked side by side with him for 20 years at his former restaurant, Chez Robert. When Chez Robert closed over 20 years ago, he opened Bobby Chez and built his new business from a small 500 square foot shop to four retail stores including wholesale, retail and national sales.
