$2 Bill:
Despite being of a low monetary value, the $2 notes are among the rare currency circulating within the United States. Production sharply dropped beginning in the late 1950s, and today it is estimated that under 1% of all notes currently produced are $2. The scarcity contributes to a lack of awareness and growth of many urban myths - most notably that the $2 bills are not legitimate notes and are subsequently refused by businesses.
Australian Kangaroo Gold Coin Series:
The kangaroo gold coin series was first issued in 1990 with a new kangaroo design on the obverse released each year. An image of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the reverse, as it does on most Australian gold coins and remains unchanged each year. Minted by Australia's oldest currently operating mint, the Perth Mint, each Kangaroo gold coin is created from 99.99% solid gold.
China Gold 500 Yuan Panda Coin:
Introduced to the world in 1982, the Gold Chinese Panda coins have become some of the most popular coins collected today. Each year a new panda image adorns the reverse except between the years of 2000 and 2001, when the Chinese Mint did not change the image. Public outcry led to the Mint to continue the tradition of yhe annual designs. The People's Republic of China offers the coins in various sizes and denominations. There are no mint marks on the coins, but subtle differences in the size of the date and style of the temple can determine the exact mint of origin.
