We remember being kids and having our parents force us to eat all the greens on our plates, to brush our teeth regularly and – the worst part – take chewy vitamins that tasted awful. Or maybe yours were sweet, chalky and a little tangy from a colorful bottle high up on the shelf. These were things we didn’t necessarily want to do, but as we’ve aged, we’re learning just how important it is to keep ourselves feeling healthy and feeling good - inside and out! Kind of like using tanning and sun care when we go outside, taking a vitamin can be helpful.
Much like good dental care is important as we age, so is remembering to take vitamins and supplements to give our body exactly what it needs. If you’re anything like us, we do our best, but we’re not perfect. There are still days where we forget to have the recommended amount of vegetables or don’t get as many steps in as we should. Finding a way to help supplement things we’re missing - like nutrients and vitamins - can help us continue to feel good, even when we have a couple of awkward off-days.
