About Ghurka:
Offering premium style that is distinctly Ghurka, their tradition of handcrafted leather goods dates back 35 years. Founder Marley Hodgson started the company after finding leather boots and belts from India's Ghurka Army regiment. He developed the rich look of Ghurka leather after seeing the patina the pieces had developed with age.

The signature chestnut leather comes from Europe's best tanneries and Ghurka's old school artisans transform into elite pieces with their subtle craftsmanship and premium hardware. On average, only five of 100 leather pieces are chosen as material worthy of a Ghurka item. Once the right leather is found, each individual item is created from a single piece of leather, giving that item a uniform appearance. Then, each bag is buffed and polished by hand for the distinctive Ghurka look. It is this attention-to-detail that creates the premium quality of Ghurka.
