See the Know Before You Fly tab above for important information every pilot needs to understand before they leave the ground! The Essentials
Yuneec Flight Simulator
Make your first flight a virtual one with the Yuneec flight simulator. Future pilots can experience real flight characteristics in a safe, simulated environment in front of their Windows PC. The USB Simu-connector works with your new Q500 remote control to give you a genuine learning experience. The flight simulator can be controlled without any wires within 10m, and features virtual telemetry data displayed on the interface.
SteadyGrip Camera Mount
Make movies by hand using your compatible smartphone and the SteadyGrip. The SteadyGrip lets you take the Typhoon Q500 4K gimbal camera out of the sky and use it on the ground. With the free app, you can use your Android or iPhone (5+) smartphone as the camera controller and get the same control of video FPS, video start/stop and still photos as the aircraft remote. Requires eight (8) "AA" batteries, free app and a compatible smartphone - none of which are included. You need 5.8GHz Wi-Fi support on your smartphone.

WARNING: Smart Mode only works when Typhoon has a suitable GPS signal/lock. If you take off in Smart Mode and Typhoon loses GPS signal/lock it will switch to Angle (Pilot) Mode automatically. This is why we strongly recommend learning to fly in Angle (Pilot) Mode as soon as possible. Otherwise, if you lose GPS signal/lock and are not able to properly control Typhoon in Angle (Pilot) Mode the aircraft may crash or even 'fly away'.
