Waterford Crystal Book of Kells 8.75" Hand-Crafted Irish-Cut Footed Bowl

The Book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript containing the four Gospels of the New Testament, is widely regarded as a masterpiece of Celtic design and calligraphy. The original is admired by countless visitors on display at Trinity College Library in Dublin, but some of its most coveted patterns include its intricate braiding which you can find on another masterpiece of Celtic design: this Waterford bowl!

Cut in Ireland, you'll be dazzled by coin, cross and braid cuts adorning the exterior above a contemporary footed base, offering a stunning visual rhythm all the way around. Place it on your dining table as the ultimate centerpiece that's fit for decorative orbs or green glass beads. You don't have to be Irish to pay homage to Irish tradition and craftsmanship. California residents only: “Proposition 65” WARNING

When washing by hand, avoid using scouring pads and/or abrasive detergents. To prevent spotting, combine a quarter cup ammonia with a mild lemon detergent. Clean bowls, vases and decanters by filling them half-full with moderately hot water, a small amount of mild detergent, two tablespoons of white vinegar or ammonia and 1/2 cup uncooked rice. Swirl the rice around for a few minutes to remove residue. Do not use an automatic dishwasher as this could cause your crystal to lose its brilliance. Rinse well with warm water and air dry.
