About Some Kind of Wonderful:
The story behind "Some Kind Of Wonderful Foods" starts in the hills of West Virginia, where John Ellison learned two important things that would eventually change his life. First, he learned to sing and play the guitar with his father and friends. Second, he learned to cook from his mother, Ella. In 1967 John wrote and sang the classic hit "Some Kind of Wonderful" as the lead singer of The Soul Brothers Six.

Since that time the song has been recorded by over 60 artists, making it the 3rd most played song in the world. Johns talent for blending and combining notes, instruments and voices in the studio translated perfectly to the kitchen where he combined spices and seasonings to create 'mouthwatering' combinations of chicken, beef, turkey and seafood.

In 2001 John created his first 'hit' food product "Some Kind Of Wonderful - Gourmet Seasoning'. Today, John is bringing down the house with his pre-seasoned, premium, gourmet quality meats and seafood, pre-prepared meals, all flash frozen and ready for your grill, frying pan or oven. Like the original hit song, we are confident you'll find all of our products to be Some Kind of Wonderful!
