How to Install:
Route the Cable: Place all parts of product on flat stable surface. Stretch cable along ground from outside of GFCI receptacle and beside individual light. Split on end of cable for about 2". Strip 5/8" of insulation from end. Slide wires through retaining strap on back of transformer and then insert wires under two terminals. Tighten screws to secure wires. No wire insulation under the clamping plate. Along the cable, dig a small ditch to lay cable in (6" deep).
Place the Fixtures: Assemble lights. Make sure wires go through the cutting edge on the side of the ground spike. Twist counter-clockwise to release bottom part of connector. Then place cable through marked channel located at the bottom part. There are two choices for the marked channel. Apply the proper one to meet the needs. After that, twist clockwise to lock the up part and bottom part of connector. Prongs on connector will pierce the cable to make contact and illuminate the fixtures. Push light fixtures to the ground. Do not use hammer. Keep an appropriate space between each light.
Mount the Transformer and the Photocell: Mount screws (included) to home wall where desired. Hang transformer to the screws. Transformer should be mounted at least 12" vertically above the ground. Use screw to fix bracket of photocell to wall. Then, insert photocell (included) into bracket. Keep an appropriate space between photocell and transformer. Avoid other light sources to fool the photocell. Plug transformer to GFCI and photocell to the transformer. Finally, check all connections and locations of each part. Push light fixtures into the ground. Then place cable inside the dug ditch and cover with surrounding dirt. The first light fixture should be at least 10 wire feet from the transformer.
