Place the plastic base on a stable heat proof surface. Do not place near edge of counter top or table. Place the glass bowl onto the plastic base. Place the low and high cooking racks into the glass bowl. Place the glass lid on top of the glass bowl. The lid should set on the inner rim of the bowl. If using the extender ring, place it on top on the glass bowl. Then place the lid on.
Turn off the and unplug the unit before cleaning it. Always wait until the unit cools down completely. Glass bowl and cooking racks are dishwasher safe. Thoroughly wash the glass bowl, plastic base, extender ring, cooling racks and tongs in hot soapy water and allow to dry completely. Wipe the surface of the glass lid with a damp cloth. Self-cleaning glass bowl instructions: Pour 1"-2" of water into the glass bowl, add a small amount of mild dishwashing liquid. Place lid on and plug into the electrical outlet. Set temperature control to WASH setting and set timer to 10 minutes. Once the timer goes off, carefully open the lid and wait for the glass bowl to cool down before emptying the liquid inside. Rinse the glass bowl in clean, warm water to remove the soap residue.
Caution: Oven wave gets very hot during use. Always wear protective, insulated oven mitts or gloves when removing hood or handling the unit. Always use the handle to remove the glass lid from the glass bowl. Do not use outdoors. Do not move unit while in use. The lid must be completely closed to cook correctly; Do not place oversized food into the unit.
Please note: To obtain the 16-quart capacity, the 3" extender ring (included) must be attached. Insert tray into the wave oven prior to turning the heat on.
