The sun is rising instead of setting, which is different from the "End of A Perfect Day" series. The setting is loosely based upon Lake Louise in Canada's Alberta Providence, which is a location Thom and his family vacationed one summer. Inside the mountain crest (middle of the painting) is old man winter blowing wind (mouth and two eyes). Thom also painted three ghost riders to the right of the cabin. / -Image is printed on canvas, applied to a hardboard material, then placed into a shadow box type framing application. This image is framed in a espresso color shadow box frame molding giving it a warm smooth homey feel. Perfect for Dad for Father's Day! Great addition to any office or "man cave".
"When a morning dawns so bright, so clear, so bursting with beauty that you can't help but pause to celebrate God's wondrous creation - that is my idea of The Beginning of a Perfect Day. My new painting celebrates just such a morning and also launches a new print series, alive with the exhilaration of morning in the wilderness."
