Thomas Kinkade "Petals of Hope" 14" x 14" Gallery Wrap
A close friends tragic loss really inspired this painting from Thom. He was struck with the transcendence of all the good things that we value so much and truly believed that faith in God was our only sanctuary. Thom also visualized faith as a garden, where hope is in abundant bloom. As Thom painted "Petals of Hope", the words of an inspiring poem ran through his mind, as though a gift of confirmation from God's own hand: "Somewhere there's a garden where peace and love shall reign. And when first I see it I will never leave again. A tree of hope will grow there flowering and fragrant and tall, and when e'er I'm fearful Petals of Hope will fall."
"I sometimes visualize faith as a garden, where hope is in abundant bloom. In The Garden of Promise, we stood at the gate of that wondrous retreat. In Petals of Hope, we've entered the garden where the lavish blossoms dazzle the eye and the air is fragrant with hope."
