New Apple iPad 4th Generation Retina Display Wi-Fi Only Tablet w/ Accessories

Pick up the new iPad and suddenly, it's clear. You're actually touching your photos, reading a book and playing the piano. Nothing comes between you and what you love. To make the hands-on experience even better, Apple updated the connector to the new faster Lightning port, improved the graphics card and added Siri, your intelligent personal assistant. The new iPad is capable of more than you ever imagined!

Choices
  • Black Wi-Fi Only iPad in 16GB, 32GB or 64GB with a Black, Blue, Purple, Red or Green cover, headphones and stylus
  • White Wi-Fi Only iPad in 16GB, 32GB or 64GB with a Black, Blue, Purple, Red or Green cover, headphones and stylus

Breakthrough Retina Display
The Retina display on iPad makes everything look crisp and lifelike. Text is razor sharp, and colors are vibrant. Photos and videos are rich with detail. With an unprecedented 3.1 million pixels, it's the best mobile display ever.

Lightning Connector
Part of every new iPad is the all-new Lightning connector. It's 80% smaller than the 30-pin connector. And it features an all-digital, eight-signal design that's more durable. The design is reversible which means there's no wrong way to plug in the cable. If you have an iPad accessory that depends on the 30-pin connector, you can still connect it to your new iPad.

Super-Fast A6X Graphics Chip
The new A6X chip inside iPad is up to twice as fast as the previous-generation A5X chip, and it delivers up to twice the graphics performance, without sacrificing battery life. Which means even the most advanced apps are smooth, responsive, and incredibly lifelike.

Siri the Intelligent Assistant
Siri helps you get things done, just by asking. Talk to Siri as you would to a person: Do I need an umbrella?" or "Did the Giants win last night?" or "What time is the barbecue on Sunday?" Siri not only understands what you say, it knows what you mean. It figures out the right apps to use to find the right answer. Then, just like a personal assistant, Siri provides you with the information you need.

Ultrafast Wireless
The new iPad features advanced Wi-Fi that's up to twice as fast as any previous generation iPad. And access to more cellular data networks around the world makes it fast in more ways than one, and in many more places.

10-hour Battery Life
The new iPad features a 3.1-million-pixel Retina display and an advanced processor and graphics yet you still get up to 10 hours of power to read, watch, play, write, and create whatever you want, all you want.

iSight Camera
The new iPad features Apple's 5MP iSight camera. Designed with advanced optics, it lets you shoot gorgeous photos and 1080p HD video. Shoot 5MP still images. The 5-megapixel iSight camera features a backside illumination sensor that captures great-looking pictures whether by sunlight or candlelight.

Accessories
Evine helps you get the most out of your iPad with the innovative accessory pack which includes a smart cover, headphones, portable speaker, car charger, screen protector, two stylus pens and a splitter.

CD-R (Compact Disk Recordable): This is a CD that can be recorded or "burned" only once.

CD-ROM (Compact Disk Read Only Memory): A CD that stores information a computer can read but not alter. A CD can hold less information than a DVD but is also less expensive.

CD-RW (Compact Disk Re-Writable): This is a CD that can be recorded and re-recorded many times.

DVD-ROM (Digital Video Disk Read Only Memory): A DVD that stores information a computer can read but not alter. A DVD can hold more information than a CD.

Gigabyte (GB): This is a measurement of hard drive capacity. One gigabyte is equal to about one billion bytes.

Gigahertz (GHz): This is a measurement of processor speed. One gigahertz is equal to one billion hertz.

Hard drive: Also called a hard disk. This is where the computer permanently stores information, including the operating system and other software. This size of a hard drive is usually expressed in gigabytes (GB).

Hardware: The physical components of a computer system such as the keyboard, monitor and tower.

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display): This is a type of monitor that has a flat screen as opposed to a more traditional curved glass tube screen. LCD monitors are thin and lightweight and have little to no glare.

RAM (Random Access Memory): The amount of RAM in your computer determines how much data your computer can handle at once. If a computer only has a small amount of RAM, the processor must work harder to shuffle data around, which results in slower performance. There are two basic types of RAM:

SDRAM (Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory): This is the traditional, less expensive type of RAM. It is still commonly found on low and mid-range models.

DDR (Double Data Rate): This newer technology is faster than SDRAM, but also more expensive.

Resolution: The number of pixels per square inch displayed by a monitor. Most monitors support many different resolutions. The higher the resolution, the sharper the picture displayed.

Software: A general term for computer programs.

USB (Universal Serial Bus): This is a common way for external components such as a keyboard, mouse and printer to connect to a computer. Unlike older SCSI technology, USB devices can be added to and removed without having to reboot the computer.

iCloud Storage
iCloud stores your music, photos, apps, mail, contacts, calendars, documents, and more and wirelessly pushes them to all your devices. So if you buy a song, take a photo, or edit a calendar event on your iPad, iCloud makes sure it appears on your Mac, iPhone, and iPod touch, too.

Voice Dictation

Then say what you want to say while your iPad listens. When you're done, tap anywhere on the screen and, just like that, your spoken words become written words. Dictation also works with third-party apps, so you can do things like update your Facebook status or share a thought on your Twitter feed.
