NYC II® 3.24ctw Multi Gemstone & White Zircon Band Ring

The bright and beautiful colors of this gemstone studded ring will delight you! Designed with platinum over sterling silver, this ring captures attention with two each of oval cut 4 x 3mm gemstones including pink tourmalines, chrome diopsides, apatites, reddish purple rhodolite, tanzanite, hessonite, Madeira citrines and blue topaz stones. You will also find nine round cut 1mm white zircons in between the gemstones.

All of the gemstones are in prong settings, except the zircons which are in bezel settings. The total tourmaline weight is 0.33ct, the total chrome diopside weight is 0.40ct, the total apatite weight is 0.39ct, the total rhodolite weight is 0.48ct, the total tanzanite weight is 0.37ct, the total zircon weight is 0.08ct, the total hessonite weight is 0.47ct, the total citrine weight is 0.34ct and the total topaz weight is 0.39ct (all approximate). This ring measures 1/2"L x 7/8"W and a height of 1/8".

Platinum Plating:
Platinum can be used as a finish coating over sterling silver or copper alloys. Its bright, pure luster enhances the brilliance of gemstones and does not discolor or oxidize. Platinum plating is also characterized by its good resistance to surface abrasion, making jewelry pieces more durable against everyday and long-term wear. Over time, platinum plating will wear off and therefore will require re-plating.

To care for your plated jewelry items:

  • Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, washing hands, putting on make-up, lotions, perfumes, and/or working with household chemicals, cleaners, or acidic liquids.
  • Do not clean plated jewelry in an ultrasonic cleaner or in silver cleaning solutions, as it could completely remove the plating finish from your item.
  • Ensure your jewelry item is thoroughly dry before storing. Moisture in an enclosed space can increase tarnishing.
  • Store your plated jewelry in a jewelry box lined with felt or anti-tarnish material. Items should not be stacked as this may cause damage to the plating surface.
  • Do not use excessive pressure when cleaning with a polishing cloth or soft brush, as this may cause damage to the plating.
  • Over time your plated items will need to be re-plated. Contact your local jeweler for information on plating services.
